Seamless job offering services for foreign specialists
Seamless job offering services for foreign specialists
For foreign job seekers, finding interesting and suitable jobs in Finland is currently much too difficult. Business Finland, KEHA Centre, and their partners aim to fix this by developing a new version of their Work in Finland service.
During the autumn 2022, Business Finland and KEHA Centre, together with Virtual Finland, have started specifying a common solution how a user's profile data -- education, work experience, and qualifications -- can be used to improve job offerings for foreigners interested in Finland. The key features of the Work in Finland use case are the authentication of foreign job seekers, standardized use of their profile data, and consent of the profile data.

Company data market in the Nordics
Company data market in the Nordics
During the spring 2022, Virtual Finland has been experimenting together with the Finnish Real-time economy project and the Finnish, Swedish and Norwegian Trade Registries and Tax Administrations to build the first building blocks of a cross-border company data market place.
By using the standardized data models and definitions created by the Nordic Smart Government community, the experimentation resulted in possibility to use trade registry data from all trade registries in Nordics data in any application easily in a structured and harmonized way. This will greatly improve the quality and automation of the business processes when e.g. establishing a subsidiary in another Nordic country.
After the first experimentation, the collaboration continues! If you want to learn more, please contact [email protected]!
